Duck... in a Pond?!

Is this a new feature with 1.5? I've never seen any of my animals go in the farm's ponds... I'm a little worried the poor guy won't be able to get out!

Yup, all the more reason to build your coops near the pond. Would be a cool bonus if ducks gained happiness if they get to swim in water that day, but I don't think that's included in 1.5.

That's actually grass! It's the Realistic Wildflower Grass mod from Squiver on Nexus. FYI, you have to have this mod installed first.

SICK! I don't know why this is so exciting to me lol, but it makes me unreasonably happy to see my ducks swim.

For some reason my ducks aren't swimming in the pond at all. It's been three in-game days. I've moved the shed very close to the pond (adjacent to it). Is the grass a hindrance? What can I do to make them swim?

I'm not sure that's necessarily an issue. Give it a bit of time, it's probably a random chance that it will happen.

I've played over half a season now and still no ducks in the pond. Maybe they're to set in their ways. I notice that the more days you keep them outside, the further they'll venture in their search for grass. Apparently, they just haven't searched for water yet.

Is it confirmed they swim on every map?
