Placing Items on Ipad

Hello! I noticed that pc players are able to place items on tables, or at least just end tables. I tried it on my ipad (it’s the only device that I have it on) and it doesn’t work. Is there a way to do it or is it just a pc feature?

There is definitely a way to do this on mobile. I just don't remember what arcane summoning ritual you have to do to tell the game that you are trying to put something on a table and not pick up the table. Also, the controls are notoriously finicky on mobile, so it may take a few tries even if you figure out what gesture you are supposed to make. Maybe someone else can help.

I thought to pick up items you need to hold it and while clicking you press it once

Hold the item you want to place ( such as a lamp) and then click the table
seen in the photo

You may also find it easier if you use one of the control schemes (changeable in the menu under the settings tab) that has buttons. They allow for a little more precision (especially if you do joystick+buttons), and you can always swap right back when you're done, if you like tap to move more
