PlayStation One tile in the Mountain Lake not fishable.

I was trying to fish in the mountain lake from the area where Sebastian smokes, and I noticed my cast wouldn't let me hit 1 specific tile. The rod pulls back every time as if it's not coded as water.
I am on Playstation 5, version 1.66.

Fair enough. No need to waste a item.
I switched to my other save and can't recreate it. Either it's isolated to my first save, or it specifically happens with my equipment setup on it. On the affected save, I was using an advanced iridium rod enchanted with Master and had eaten a dish o'the sea. my newer save only has the iridium rod and the food, just barely started earning mastery experience.

can you recreate it on your original save?

if so, what is your fishing load out and does it change with different bobbers, baits, rods?

On the original save I can recreate it with every pole regardless of bait/tackle. my original setup was advanced iridium with deluxe bait, trap bobber, and dressed spinner.

So you can only recreate this on your og save and not on any other save? Even with any equipment? Very specific issue. Try reinstalling the game.

yes, it seems to be just that 1 save. I should've thought to test these things before posting but I'm grateful for all the suggestions. if I do reinstall I will post the result. for now I will just not fish right in that spot.
