I would get some for jade BUT I don't have enough iridium lmfaoo. Also insane pull from the mystery box I can't ever find a prismatic shard even from omni geodes.
Thanks! Last save, I ended up having about 7-8 geode crushers working away on omni geodes for most of a year and not a single one. But I found a fair few from other sources, like mystic stones and monster drops. If a mystic stone spawns in the quarry, go there in the morning and smash it. Reload the day if it doesn't drop a prismatic shard and leave it alone that day. Repeat the process next morning.

You'd have got one crystallarium from the Vault room if you hadn't picked the Joja route. You get another if you donate enough minerals to the museum.

I already filled up half of one shed with preserve jars and i'm trying to fill up the other half with kegs but I think i'll need more sheds to fill up with machines and stuff. My greenhouse is really packed and apparently ancient fruit doesn't grow in garden pots? I have so many eggs I'm trying to turn into mayonnaise and milk to turn into cheese and wool to turn into cloth that I might not leave the farm for an entire week in a row... Need more cheese makers and mayonnaise machines but I think I'm going to wait since I need 200 pieces of hardwood to gain access to ginger island.

Cool! What are you processing?

I swear to god the hull is the hardest part to repair. Also doesn't help if your not on forest farm.

Are you growing some of the mahogany seeds you've most likely found? I always put down a few (5-12) on my farm to harvest the seeds they try to spread, in preparation for when I get access to the mastery cave. Well, that and to get more hardwood for the mushroom logs. Helps with the hull too.

Mahogany trees are very useful for hardwood. They give a lot compared to stumps.

Whenever I get mahogany seeds I just randomly put them in the ground and chop them down when they eventually grow. It’s really handy for the hull and other projects that might use hardwood.

no ancient fruit in garden pots, correct. The powergamer-approved seed of choice is pineapples (very similar growth cycle, almost as valuable) in conjunction with deluxe retaining soil (water once and forget) however, getting both of those is going to require Ginger Island access so yeah, hording hardwood for Willy's boat is your most immediate bottleneck on that front.

FIVE MAIN DRAINS ON YOUR HARDWOOD SUPPLY
they are:

Willy's Boat/Ginger Island: 200
House Upgrade #2: 150
The New Racoon House Sidequest: 150 (?)
Stable/Horse: 100
Robin's Special Order Board: 80 (also requires freshly chopping 80 new pieces)

If you're running short on hardwood, this would be my personal recommended order of priority. Ginger Island has lots of hardwood stumps and logs to clear off the farm and a few regenerating mahogany trees around the island so you'll be able to start replacing those 200 units you just spent to get there.

And while many players prioritize upgrading their pickaxe early (and with good reason) this need for massive amounts of hardwood means I often put my wood axe ahead of even my pickaxe to get secret woods access ASAP. Planting mahogany seeds on your farm is going to be necessary to get all the hardwood you need and the regenerating stumps aren't always as giving as they should be so you're going to have to hit them a lot (also your most solid source of Foraging XP, 25 per). You are definitely going to want to "bank" some fully grown mahogany trees on your farm before bothering with Robin's special order as relying on daily harvesting of those secret wood stumps leaves you no margin for error; miss a day and fail the quest. [The Forest Farm has some regenerating stumps of it's own so if you're playing on that you'll have a little more slack]. You're going to need a ton of hardwood over the course of the game; start setting yourself up early. The answer to "What Happened On Your Farm Today?" should usually have "Hardwood prepping" as part of your answer.

I got the sauce stained shirt (as a random drop, but I've since discovered you can make it from scratch at Emily's house if you have spaghetti and cloth).

And I immediately knew what I had to do with it, once I got it.

Marry Haley in the goofiest getup possible. [That would be a Party Hat, Sauce Stained Shirt, and the default undershorts due to wearing no pants, for those of you looking to recreate my farmer's take on haute couture, whether you're looking to embarrass Haley on her special day or not.]

That ... that is a look, indeed.

One minor problem with that list: The 2nd house upgrade and turning the big treestump into a home are just 100 hardwood each, making the list a little less daunting. (also, I don't bother getting the stable, but I might be in the minority there)

My absolute biggest drain on hardwood supply is mushroom logs. I think I've got over 35 of them so far, meaning I used at least 350 hardwood. I pretty much make all the logs my moss supply allows. But I'll have to hold off on that once I can access the mastery cave.

Also repaired the tree stump and done Robin's hardwood Special Order. So, what's left of those for me is the boat repair and the 2nd house upgrade. And a lot more mushroom logs. Then there's the stuff where I'll need a few full stacks of ordinary wood... I think I should plant a bunch more trees of all kinds, and fertilize them as it's still winter.

As for what happened today is that I won the Ice Festival contest and "completed" the SquidFest. Also got the three Lupine paintings from the night market and the submarine-specific fish. Caught the Glacierfish too.

The dehydrators are now in a shed right next to the mushroom log grove, along with the few preserve jars I've got. After getting another 5 dehydrators I'm finally starting to make a dent in the stacks of common mushrooms. The greenhouse, barn and coop have been moved around to make better use of where grass can grow, and the lightning rods I used as part of the fence got put in a chest until Spring.

Combat is the only skill remaining before I can access the mastery cave, but I've been working on it, enough that I've gained the crabshell ring earlier than in any of my previous saves. Working on the combat skill has been somewhat helped by taking Clint's monster-hunting Special Order (only grubs, but still), and Willy's Special Order for bug meat. Had to pick Emily's Special Order last Monday, since the other option was Pierre's Special Order. I'm not gonna grow 25 gold vegetables in the second half of winter, even if I theoretically could, because greenhouse. I'd rather do it in any other season.

My quarry surprised me when I got access to it. It had 3 mystic stones. I still haven't touched them, and now another has made them company. You could say I'm now prepared in case I'd get the Qi quest of gathering and delivering 4 prismatic shards. Not a quest I particularly like, but a lot better than the junimo kart quest.
