Cask consuming another cask

I use mods so I came here, but I don't know how to upload the smapi log or if it's even needed in this case. The thing is, I misplaced a cask in my cellar and I mistakenly wanted to remove it with another cask instead of a tool in my hands/inventory slot and it consumed the object. I thought it was doing the clicking thing where you remove an object empty-handed and it takes a few tries till the object pops up and is removed, but when placing a cask on top of another cask destroys the object, and I was wondering if this is normal and why would this be put into the game lol it just consumed like 100 of my casks and I couldn't be bothered and quit the game to take a break.

What mods do you have? Is this the only glitch you encountered or are there any more?

I tried recreating it again and discovered it only happens when I'm fully surrounded by casks, which is often cause I use the cellar at full capacity. I have not encountered any other problems.
