Does anyone else play without the music turned on?

I can barely entertain the idea of playing SdV without music. The soundtrack is absolutely one of my favorite parts of the experience. I honestly believe it is up there with the all time great video game OSTs, from fantastic composers like Lena Raine, Christopher Larkin, Keiichi Okabe, David Wise, and others I'm sure would come to mind if I thought about it longer. It's insane to me that anyone would make the choice to turn it off, but I guess it's true that not everything is for everyone lol

It depends for me. Whenever I feel like listening to my audiobooks while playing, I'll turn it off and listen to those instead. Otherwise, I have my jukebox playing one of Sam's song (I forgot the title) inside the farm and the regular soundtracks outside of it.
I had a long term farm on which I had jukeboxes in certain cabins and barns etc. I especially liked the nature documentary music as the 'farm music' being played outside.

I've played so long that the season songs got kinda lame and even overwhelming to me, that is, sometimes causing music induced sensory overload (for I guess my brain is steaming processing the same info all over again). Nowadays I play without the music for this reason.

Yeah, the music is banger but my brain got enoug of it and turns into a fried potato whenever playing and listening at the same time, nowadays.

I often play with the tv on in the background so i turn the music off, i do keep the sounds on tho. But the music is highly enjoyable if it we're completely silent in the room.

Most of the time I play the game without sound at all, because my headphones have a slight delay in sound, and it's really noticeable in stardew compared to other things, with stuff like breaking rocks or opening chests. It really annoys me

That sucks. My earbuds luckily don't have any issues like that but if they did then that would bother me too lol.

My earbuds have the same problem. Sometimes I just turn off the ambient sounds though. so I can listen to the music while I play
