Hello everyone. When I played Stardew Valley, some dialogs, moments and cutscenes seemed to me little bit illogical. For example, if I marry with Abigail, her parents, friends and other environment of the town won't react to this. Or we all know that Clint is in love with Emily and if we marry with Emily, Clint won't do anything. It would be more interesting if we have less points of friendship with him in case of marriage with Emily. Or there is an another example. In one of the cutscenes with Shane he says that he gave up alcohol, but after this Shane still will be glad if we give him a beer, moreover he still will visit Saloon and so on. And there are more similar examples, but I think you catch the idea. Characters need more development. It will greatly diversify the game.

Oh, yeah, I think almost everybody's on board with this. What would REALLY add replay value is if every set of in-laws had a few scenes specific to them.

If you marry Shane, does he leave Jas? After promising to do better for her? It doesn't seem right.
I love the game, characters, and setting but I do agree with you. I'd love more story, more development, more dialog.
I think it would be really cool to start seeing new dialog in the later years of the game and new events or ways to participate.
I'd also love more about the stardew valley world. Maybe more books, like an atlas in the library with maps of the ferngill republic and gotoro empire. Maybe the actual book of Yoba after you read the highlights from the book of Yoba. Maybe a journal written by the wizard that explains more about the forest spirits and his personal story about his marriage. And what is written on the dwarf scrolls? The TV could also feature more things, news stories, or interviews with locals.

Ape said he won't do it. But I want it too!
According to the stickied common suggestions thread in this forum, this kind of thing is in the "interested" category. CA does actually want to tie up loose ends with various NPCs, but it just takes a while to get around to everyone with the other things that also need his attention.
