How to avoid burnout?

You know I really like Stardew Valley but more often than not I try to min max everything and burn myself out by Summer. So I was wondering what I could do to prevent that. Also if anybody else has tips for how to play relatively efficient but relaxed.

check Stardew wiki frequently
i discussed this topic with my friends
in terms of some seasonal ingredients for food or something for community, if you miss something, that will take a long time to get in another year
so it might be better to check on Stardew wiki to avoid missing critical items beforehand

I should check wiki more often it's really useful.

I'm trying to play like this right now.

Forage more, farm more and walk around talking to the villagers a lot and give them gifts! It gets you off the farm and helps you slow down and enjoy the seasons.

If you get too tempted to min/max grow a diversity of crops and don't rely on ancient fruit/starfruit to make huge profits. Enjoy each crop's individuality and preserving it.

Just my take on it, hope you find a way to not burn out by Summer!

Just focus on the stuff you enjoy, and don't overburden yourself going too fast if it's going to be pointless in the end.

You might benefit from making some longterm goals in a farm that aren't super rigorous or boring, and then work towards those, without really worrying about how long they take. Something like completing the community center, doing stuff on ginger island, completing a collection, fully decorating a farm, or perfection are all good things with varying levels of difficulty.

Hm yeah I guess something like a goal would be good. I think I will aim for perfection in this playthrough. Although I'm gonna try and be relaxed.
