"Hooded figure"

If you've been to the Night Market, you've seen the "hooded figure" who will warp you back to the farm if you pay them 250g. Which leads me to wonder... who is this "hooded figure"? I'm welcome to any theories. Some things I've noticed/I'm speculating:
The sprite for the hooded figure looks sort of like the Dwarf's, with glowing eyes peering out of the darkness. So one theory is it could be Dwarf or Krobus, disguising themselves, as we've already seen (From the Movie Theater, Krobus disguises himself when you invite him) Krobus disguising himself, or the "hooded figure" could be related to them in some way. Let your theories run wild, farmers!

I think the hooded figure could potentially be a Dwarf, but not the Dwarf. I say that because the figure's eyes are glowing purple instead of orange, and they actually are able to speak the Farmer's language. The figure is a bit tall and thick to be a Dwarf, but I think that can be easily explained. The way the robe is draped, a Dwarf could be standing on a stool under it or something. As for how this Dwarf is speaking the Farmer's language, maybe they learned it? And even though every Dwarf we've seen has had orange eyes (the Dwarf and the rarecrow), we don't know that it's impossible for them to have other eye colors.

Oops, yep, when I said "related to them" I meant "It could be a dwarf or shadow person".

I think it's one of The Wizard's old school buddies who he suggested for the job a few years back. He got the Fortune Teller her gig at the Fair and he probably met his ex there and she's a local as well. Probably convinced Lewis that both could add to the local color and the Luau soup when the Governor comes a-visiting but luckily they're both smart enough to avoid that guy who's all promises and no delivery when it comes to local real estate investments.
