i finally got five and shucks,, two were silver and three were plain and i couldn't do them yet now, after a week of the mines, i usually start at 95, i have 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 plain. it's a pain... i have 7 mushroom logs bur only got one purple there.

This is why I love the botanist profession. Your Foraged items are always iridium quality so not only are they worth more, they stay in one inventory stack, and if you have five you know they can all go into the dehydrator together.

When I get the okay with Mr.Q to collect the reward after I give the 4 psymiun on the island he never gives me the gems. This is twice so far. Help me with this. I was able to do it before I got the update 1.6 I use my android. Always had since I began the game, two phones ago. Help would be appreciated.

If you have any mystic trees, mushroom logs next to those are more likely to produce purple mushrooms. You can also sometimes get them when tapping mushroom trees or cutting them down, though the chance is low.

Someone please clue me in on the big tree repairing. I have the hardwood but can't get to it.

Have you repaired the greenhouse and had the event at night where a strong wind blows the tree down? Both of these things need to happen first.

you need to find 4 prismatic shards and give him 4. If you only give him 4, you won’t get the gems (but he’ll give you your prismatic shards back, they’re at Major Lewis‘s house).

The quest conditions changed in 1.6 and now you ALSO need to collect 4 brand new prismatic shards within the week. Just giving him four is now only half the quest. It's new since the update. You have to find new ones, not just give him some that you had stored in a chest.

2, you have to deliver 4 prismatic shards to Qi.

They don’t have to be the same ones, but if you only bring him 4 without also finding 4, you’ve not completed the quest and get your shards back instead of the purple gems.

I would actually suggest that you try some different Qi quests to get gems. The prismatic shard quest is extremely difficult if you don't routinely do deep skull cavern dives, just because that is the fastest way to obtain a lot of them. I usually rely on random loot drops, omni geodes, or mystic stones in the quarry, so I don't give the ones I get to Mr. Qi.

Instead, I collect lots of cheap items that can be used for the prismatic grange quest.

Red - salmon berries, hot peppers, apples
Orange - copper ore, apricots, earth crystals
Yellow - sap, wheat
Green - fiber, tea leaves
Blue - blueberries, broken CDs, broken glasses, blackberries
Purple - refined quartz, grapes, amethyst, sweet pea, bug meat

Some of these are literal trash you just have to collect as you play; some you can grow; some you can pop into a dedicated crystallarium. It can take some time to collect enough, but all you need to do is remember to put junk in a chest. Usually, by the time I get the quest, I can immediately fill it, sometimes twice over.

Another one is giving 50 loved items in one week. This is extremely easy if you have a stash of rabbit feet (and emeralds for Penny). For anyone who says that rabbit feet are hard to get, I say, you clearly need to pet more rabbits.

You can actually cheese the dangerous mines or dangerous skull cavern quests with a stack of 100 staircases and some food to eat if you get too injured.

Is it just the mystic trees or is it all wild trees? My logs have been doing decent around regular trees it seems.... maybe?

i didn't get purple mushrooms from the3 mystic tree yet. the piglady had five one sunday and i bought them all. 1250 each. got a racoon hat for the benefit.

I want to say that any tree that isn't a fruit tree can, but I can't prove that
