Xbox Lost all animals on the farm

I have 3 coops and 3 barns. Overnight, I lost all of the animals in them after i lost my pet few days ago.

Now I can’t:

• Add any new animals (the game says the buildings are already occupied), and
• Destroy the buildings (it says there are still animals inside).

Basically, the game thinks there are animals in these buildings even though they’re gone, so I can’t use the space at all.
Is there any solution or workaround to fix this?

I have had a cow go missing. After a few in game days it came back

No, they didn’t come back and i still cant buy new animals or break the buildings

My daughters and I were playing couch co-op on the Xbox and lost nearly all of our animals. All of our pigs, ducks, cows, and lizards disappeared one night.

When I attempt to buy more animals it says both buildings are full. Weirdly, I still get eggs from the missing ducks and chickens.

During the same day one of my daughters was unable to open chests. They would just close instantly. The other would engage in conversations with other people and the picture wouldn't load of the person.

I'm willing to troubleshoot further if given directions.
