any tips on getting more ore?

Looking to get a lot of ore fast for Kegs,Jars, and Tappers and other useful items

Luck buffs increase the size/amount of ore nodes that spawn, so go on a Lucky day and with any luck Food buffs you have. Bombs will help you gather more in a smaller time. Skull Cavern seems to be a better place for ore but getting to the Mines is faster in earlier game and you can reset the levels you want by taking the elevator to the top, waiting a game tick (10 minutes on the game clock) and taking the elevator back down to the level you want:

Floor 2-39 for

Copper
Floor 41-79 for

Iron
Floor 81-119 for

Gold

Don't even go through each floor looking for ladders down, if you find a useless floor just take the ladder back up top, wait that tick and then elevator down to the same level again, it'll reset! I also farm Fiber here from the levels with Weeds.

I have 2 deluxe sheds for kegs and planning 2 sheds for jars. Do whatever you see fit to your style, some uses shed as a canvas and decorate as they like some goes for efficiency

for mining stuff there is not much you can do but venture deeper and deeper which doesn’t guaratee more ores but there is always tomorrow, don’t sweat too much you will have more than you know what to do with in really short time jusy keep it on your own pace

Thanks I'm currently preparing for my first winter three days after robin finished my barn I've:
- Cleared out all grass outside of the fences turining them into hay oveer a full 999 stack
- Bought 4 cows (Also have 4 chickens)
- Two heaters
- 18 Preserve Jars making blueberry jelly
- Crab Pots (no bait needed and made with copper perks) for making Sashimi for energy
- clearing out the rest of my farm for planning my set up (can't get rid of the big rocks and logs yet and will use winter to first level up my watering can to silver)

It took me a few playthroughs but I settled on a Big Shed for storage chests and some machines and a second Big Shed for just Kegs and Preserves Jars. The Big Shed is 1/2 full with each, with an additional single Jar and Keg outside the front door so I can see when everything inside is done. Saves me time and space.
But not as cool as a TARDIS.

also if you've gotten mining mastery, you can craft a statue of the dwarf king, which gives various mining blessings, one of which is an increased chance to find ore!

you can craft it with 20 iridium bars, which might take a while on its own, but if you have the statue of perfection from grandpa, it's a lot easier.

Just want to add a couple quick clarifications to this:
1. You actually don't have to wait 10 minutes for the elevator to reset, in single-player it resets instantly as soon as you go back to level 0
2. If you're really wanting to grind out the ores it's best to just do as Lew said and not really use ladders to scour floors, but to push this even more, it's actually just best to stick to the best floor of each 'zone', 21 for copper (go 20->21->0, repeat), 41 for iron (go 40->41->0, repeat), and 81 for gold (go 80->81->0, repeat)
3. Buff luck does nothing for ore spawning and basically nothing for actually getting additional ore so don't bother with luck buffs. Daily luck also doesn't do much, helping minimally with 'vein' spawning, but not to a degree that really matters (at least not more than just practicing at going up and down efficiently), so it's often the bad luck days that just resetting floors over and over are smart to do on
