If you feed a Carrot to your Horse, it'll get a speed boost for the rest of the day, so that's pretty cool.

They're also.... pretty mediocre for resale but solid for energy, so if you're looking to plant something expressly for eating it for energy they're a solid choice.

VERY important to note: your horse gives you a little heart bubble when you feed them a carrot. (No, there are no game effects. It's just cute. But you can't pet the horse, so this is the only way to give your horse some love.)
