Xbox Game pass 1.6 local coop crash

The crash hapoens on my current farm when my sibling tries to join in local coop
I tried in a new farm, and the crash seems to not happen at all
I have to mention that we did the duplicate glitch
but i think i sold everything i duplicted but it still didnt work
I dont want to start a new save brcause mine is like on year 4 and a i reached ginger island
Please help

Yes, i just tried and it worked
But my sibling have to play a new character and all their progress will be lost
Is there a way to fix the old character?
My sibling say that they will quit the game if all their progress is lost
Pls help
