Can’t complete the trash bear quest

The bear wants banana pudding & and I am not going to Ginger Island. I quit the last game because of the island. I did not like what Qi did to the mines. I did not like the fact that my character supplied all of the expensive materials for the boat and was still charged 1000 gold for each passage.

Besides, isn’t it time that the villagers cleaned up their own messes?

Also get enough animals and you easily get over 1 thousand a day
I have plenty of money, but like my grandmother taught me, you don’t get it by wasting it on things you don’t need or want. I won’t be doing 5he raccoon quest either; there is no way I am spending 10k for an item I will use once. Besides, if that raccoon were really hungry, it would be be happy with something other snails and smoked flounder. After a disastrous experience with targeted bait I won’t waste money on snail bait. I have better things to do than to fill & empty crab pots to gratify the whims of a manipulative raccoon.

There are a huge number of interesting things in Ginger Island
Go and explore it
You will have additional arable farmhouse.
I believe you need to dehydrate fruits very soon.
You can get banana sapling very soon
In early gane, bananas are deficient, but you will have more in late game
Now I brew juice with banana and mango🤩

I explored Ginger Island the last time I played. Yes I did the quests, went through the volcano etc. I didn’t like it. I hated the way the island was set up but and I found Qi’s quests stressful. Then Qi covered the mines in vines. I quit the game for over a year because of it.

People please stop saying “Try it, you‘ll like it.” We can’t all like the same thing. I just don’t think that it is fair that the trash bear quest suddenly requires stuff from Ginger Island. I feel that this is a not so subtle attempt to force my character to go to Ginger Island. Some players will prefer to remain in Pelican Town. Please respect that, and keep Pelican Town quests as Pelican Town quests. Ditto for Ginger Island.

I feel so sorry my advice made you stressful.
Yes, some quests look annoying especially quests in Ginger Island.
I refused both psychologically and physically to get to Ginger Island at the beginning just because I hated digging out golden walnuts.
I purchased the rest of walnuts from a hilarious parrot finally.

So to speak, tash bear doesn't matter. He only unlocks the dog in front of Alex's home.

There is nothing loss if you don't finish trash bear's quests.

Pick the part you enjoy in Pelican Town.
Playing the game but don't be played by the goals/achievements of the game.

I can empathize your feeling though.

I'm just curious, like normal snails? I get so many daily in my crab pots. I'm on a Riverland farm, if that matters. I'm just wondering, I didn't even know there was snail bait

The way to think about it is you fixed the boat sure, but you're paying for Willy's time when he'd otherwise be making money at his shop, same goes for the bus

Robin also helps actually construct the boat and presumably pays all the same for the fare, it's basically pocket change at that point anyway (1000g buys 2 beers, not like you're emptying your pockets for the poor lad to spend the whole day sailing you there and back(and sometimes even rescue your unconscious body))
