Many thanks to concerned ape for another update, but I will say I miss the bug where every gift I gave someone was loved gift. I've been running around passing out sap for my whole save file and everyone loves me.

Yep, in addition to bouquet and necklace, you can get married with a girl without any gifts.

If you are talking about your wife in real life, hmmmmm.... better to reconsider that.
Gifts like perfume or lipstick won't be expensive.
