Just commenting to say that I'm having this same issue. It's been occurring seemingly at random for the past 2ish weeks and also seems to be happening more frequently recently (like can't even finish a single full day before it suddenly happens). it can happen whether I'm on my horse or just running on my own, and it happens in both multiplayer and solo. I've noticed that often it will be immediately preceded by the camera zooming in extremely close to my character. I can only run in one direction, straight down, until I have no more space to run in and then all I can do is keep running in place. Nothing else on the screen is responsive for me. If in multiplayer, my partner is able to keep going about their day and can go to bed, but I am stuck where I am until I pass out. If I get to the end of day profits screen, it'll play the totals much quicker than usual and the sound will have that high sped-up sound, but the screen is unresponsive. I had luck once just quitting the game at the end of day screen and when I reopened the game it asked me if I wanted to pick up where I left off, and that seemed to work. However, it hasn't worked since that single time (it was maybe the second time it happened). I'm playing on an iPad with iPadOS 18.3 and I have version 1.6.15.0 installed.
