Im in need of radioactive ore's

Hi im currently farming radioactive ore's at the mine but i can't seem to find any, i have completed dangers in the deep but when i activate the shrine and farm radioactives i can't seem to find any, my only option is to go to skull cavern but that is way to dangerous for me. Can someone help me?

If the radioactive ore here stands for iridium ore, it will be better for you to dig them out from the Skull Carven.

You can prepare some food to recover your health and energy.

Galaxy blade/dagger is a good option for you to fend off attacks from monsters in Sull Carven.

I'm having troubles finding radioactive ore in the regular mine, do they not spawn anymore on 1.6?

Daily Luck is the best indicator of whether you'll see more Radioactive Nodes in The Mines when set to Dangerous mode. So turn on Dangerous mode and hope the next day is High Luck. If not, keep turning on Dangerous mode until you get that High Luck day.

Taking other Luck Buffs like Lucky Lunch and hanging out at deeper Mine Levels will both help a little in spawning Radioactive Ore Nodes but the most important thing is High Daily Luck.

It spawns more often with High daily Luck. You still should get some spawns with average Luck but I've been through the Mines in Dangerous and seen zero Radioactive Nodes and I assume those were Low Luck days.

I'll try to go on high luck days to see if there's any Radioactive ore, if I still can't find any my only hope is in skull cavern

Also i have some issues regarding the controllers, I'm playing on Android and i made it so that my controller has a joystick and 2 buttons but it's so buggy especially when I'm using my scythe to harvest my crops

Iridium ore: post 1.6 upgrade, it became rarer to come by. It's best source, is to rush completing community/joja and grab the statue from grandpa's shrine, at year 3.

Radioactive ore: start Mr.Qi's special quests, post collecting all golden walnuts. Finish the Danger in the Deep and Skull Cavern Invasion ones, remembering to activate each place's respective altat, next day come. For farming it, i use luck bufs on very lucky day and use the elevator, for DANGEROUS mines, near the bottom (nodes don't spawn at multiples of 5 floors, i think).

Blacksmith profession helps (the level 5 prerequisite actually, which yields more ores per mine attempt).

I realized I made a huge mistake!
There exists radioactive ore other than iridium ore.
I thought iridium ore is the rarest ore. But I am wrong.

I have never seen radioactive regardless of regular mine or Skull Carven.
I took it for granted that it meant iridium ore.

I feel so sorry I misled him.
There does exist radioactive ore/bar other than iridium ore/bar.
So far, I have never seen that.
The color is between shining green and yellow.
It looks more radiant than regular ore/bar.
I should check my progress again.

You are correct, radioactive nodes cannot be found in Mines (dangerous state) when floor level is a multiple of 5. This means that if one uses only elevators to see if there are radioactive nodes on the level, one will never find radioactive ores. Thus, it is necessary to go down using ladders and staircases if one wants to find radioactive nodes.
There is no such limitation on Skull Caverns (dangerous state).

Adding onto what Nicodeux said, there is an alternative to the elevator when it comes to resetting floors which is simply resetting level 1 of the mines or SC, which is the best way in terms of in game time to collect radioactive ore (though incredibly time costly when done meticulously).

Generally one will bring a high level of magnetism (2-4x magnetism by combining iridium bands/magnet rings/glowstone rings), and use a slingshot with explosive ammo, then just go up and down monotonously until you spot a node, blow it up, and repeat. There are a few ways to further optimize this but most just massively drag out the amount of time it takes and you generally don't need that much radioactive ore either. For this method, level 1 of the mines is better as while level 1 of skull cavern has better radioactive ore rates (being level 121 of the mines and the nodes increasing with depth), it has no single, contained floor like level 1 of the mines will always be, so is slower overall.

Thank you for reminding me the usage of explosive ammo: I really make to little usage of those.
