Why don't consoles get patch notes?

Well in the US, in just 2 days most people wont be worried about game patches anymore. Just saying.

I can understand frustrations here, but it is PC game. I say that no longer being able to use a PC and use the most messed up Stardew platform of all time…mobile. To make people happy CA stretched himself way too thin and introduced other platforms that honestly can’t keep up with. He knows he made a “mistake” in the eyes of beloved players of non pc platforms and he’s trying his best to right that “wrong” but there will be a point at which those other ports will drop the game anyways for newer ones as happens all the time with console and mobile games. He’s specifically stated he will not be developing future games on mobile and maybe not on console either. He’s being honest as he can be here, it’s just too much for him and his teams (he’s got one per platform.) That’s more than most multimillionaires will admit to so he’s doing the best he can here. He does care about us but you can only do what you can do and he tried to make too many people in too many platforms happy and he can’t win for losing. He’s at least genuinely sorry about it. That’s more than most ceos are.

To be honest, the rest of your post is a lot of conjecture. Some of it may be technically correct, but the rest reads like a headcanon.

I'm not bashing CA. I've noticed that within certain circles of the SDV fanbase, even asking simple questions is tantamount to blasphemy. Like it or not, CA is running a business. A business has customers. Not all customers think alike. Customers are allowed to voice displeasure or inquire about the condition of their product.

I'll leave it at that. If we're unable to get back on track, I'd suggest a mod just close this topic. I'm not here to start drama.

Thank you for being a necessary voice of reason, Grumples. The hysterical way some folks insist on defending Barone is ridiculous. He's a public figure.
He deserves and will receive both appreciation and criticism. And if some folks can't handle seeing the latter, they need to be responsible and disengage themselves from topics that they find upsetting

I noticed the bug reports over the course of the day. I suppose I will just wait a little longer. I don't mind, I have the latest release on PC and my main save in 1.5 is still very fun.
