Switch My game data has changed after latest update... for the worse

Hello friends, I was... devastated to open Stardew today after seeing that not only had my trinket levels been randomized, but the sprite for my fairy has now changed as well. I used to have Tinkerbell. Now it's a brunette girly with a purple dress. She's fine... but I am not.

In addition, my secret person for the Feast of the Winter Star was changed from Willy🥰 to Pierre🤢.

Is there. ANYTHING. at all. That I can do to reclaim Tinkerbell? Is there any way to reset these atrocious changes that have befallen my farm? I'll give Pierre his damn fried Calamari. I'll use my stupid level 2 Parot Egg. I'll do EVERYTHING but march forth without Tinks. I miss her dearly. It's unbearable actually.

I have a sinking feeling the answer is no. I am mostly posting this for emotional support. Oh god. Tinks. Come back. Please. I miss you.

EDIT: at least I can give Lewis trash now as a loved gift LMAO. This """update""" ain't all bad😏

In fact, I think Pierre may be receiving some soggy newspaper as a gift for this year's Winter Star!

Unfortunately, this was an unavoidable part of the bug fix for bad luck streaks on Switch. I'll be marking this thread as solved, but any additional follow up can be added to the big thread on this side-effect
