Android New phone and the game transferred fine but there are no saved games.

Hi, I hope someone here will have some ideas for me. I got a new mobile phone, a Motorola (android), and my wife managed to transfer everything over from my old phone to my new phone using a Verizon transfer app. Stardew Valley transferred just fine, but when I go to load a game, it tells me there are no saved games. Does anyone here have any ideas?

I have v. 1.6. I've tried copying the files from the StardewValley folder on the old phone to the new phone, but that didn't help. I thought I would try putting them in that chucklefish folder, as described in the pinned thread here, but I am not allowed to access that folder (for some reason) and I can't seem to get past that restriction. In the new phone, I can't even open the Data folder.

The StardewValley folder on your original phone will only hold the 1.4 version of the save. If you played 1.5 or 1.6, there would be data in the chucklefish folder on your original phone too.

That said, there are only a few on-device file managers that can even see that folder; we usually recommend connecting the phone to a computer and doing the transfer that way. If that's not an option, hopefully someone here will have a recommendation

You could try to download another File Manager that could access the chucklefish folder.
