Joja skeleton gone now?

A couple of weeks ago I created a new save and I didn't see the skeleton slumped over the desk in the Joja Corporation cut scene that shows when you start a new game, at the time I thought
I missed it and thought nothing more of it. A few days ago I started another new game and this time I actively looked for the skeleton and it definitely wasn't there, it's gone, they've removed it. :hmm:

When did this happen and has anyone else noticed it? :hmm:

As to why it was removed, I can only guess it was because a few people found it offensive or triggering or something like that. :snowflake: It's a shame really, I always found that shot of the skeleton
to be pretty amusing myself, I'll miss our little skelly friend. :skull:

What?!?!?!
I'm not sure what this means? ^

Anyway, it seems like the scene at the very beginning of a new game where it shows your character working at Joja Corporation has been altered it some way, it used to include
a camera shot of a skeleton slumped over a desk, implying that they had been worked to death which was hilarious. Now the camera stops just before it reaches that desk and
pans back to your character sitting in their cubicle.

I may not have been clear before, I'm not always good at getting my point across and it's late here. Have you noticed the change too? Just wondering.

Perhaps this is just a bug or maybe it's just me, hopefully the former.

Tested right now on Stardew Valley 1.6 on mobile and the skeleton is still there
Cool! I feel like that skeleton was a call back to an ad for a software compiler that had as its hook that other compilers took so long to complete that you would turn into a skeleton before your code was ready to run.

I miss Steve the Skelly sometimes when I start another save and was wondering whether each person was randomly put in the cubefarm in that scene but I think @nicodeux got it right. It depends on your screen size and resolution. I've played Stardew on about 15 different devices (yeah yeah, addiction is a bad thing I guess) and Steve gets cropped out on some of them. And Steve's been there consistently for a while as he was headcanon enough to include him in my first Stardew story.

I didn't even think that my screen size or resolution might be the problem as it's always been the same and I nearly always play on my PC. I made some changes to those things,
ran a test and sure enough, Steve the Skelly was back where he belongs.

Thanks for testing this out, Nicoduex and apologies if I caused anyone to think that Steve had been removed from the game, I'm happy to report that is not the case.
