Is there rules against cursing? I read the guidelines and it said try to keep in family friendly, but it didn't explicitly say anything about cursing. some of my writing has curse words in it, and I wanted to know if that's ok, or if they's a warning a should do, or whatever. I can also just remove the curses before posting. idk.

Queen of Dumquestions here, I will preside over this question despite it lacking dumbness: I don't know 100% or anything but people seem not to curse much here if at all. Maybe use the inline spoiler tag in the ellipsis … thingy for the spicy words and make a note of it in the beginning of the post. That way I can read it with the fun words still spoilered and use my own preferred ones like

phlogisticatrix
flirkin
muffinsqueezer
squank
ballhooter
impignoramus

...and many others real and imagined.

Definitely pick up the good old Tintin dialogue if you have to (there are SO many I never even realized - https://tintin.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Captain_Haddock's_Curses).
Maybe a little more seriously, I don't think it's strictly forbidden (though I would think that directing it towards individuals or in any kind of hateful manner would be in violation of other rules and potentially worthy of punishment). I've definitely said some soft swear words though they're usually directed at something that's happened to me or to convey excitement for example, though it's rather rare (I also just don't swear all that much in general so it probably helps).
