1.6 Update (Multiple player mode)Having issue to start the events in special day

Hi guys,

I currently rent a own server to play the game with my girlfriends because we are not living together, I am PC, my girlfriends is ios.

The problem is happen when:
In the Multiple player mode, when there is any Festival, for example like Egg Festival or Flower Dance, we need to type 'start' in the chat window to vote in order to start the events until all the player voted, (Everyone needs to vote to say i am ready to start the events) so the PC player can very easy to type key 'T' to open the chat window, but the ios version (my girlfriends) doesn't have any button to open the chat window.
IOS version can't open the chat window below:

This problem is very annoying because every time she can't vote, in order to let the festival start, she has to quit the game every time before the festival comes, so I can only participate alone, which is very disappointing. Any help or good idea guys?

Are you playing with mods? Usually you should be able to start a festival by having all the players walk to whichever area of the valley the festival is occurring in.

I don't use any mod, we can walk to the valley, but the mobile end can't start the events.

No, you are playing with mods; the server host you're using uses a mod like AlwaysOnServer or some similar, custom variant. Mobile multiplayer is not intended to work with non-vanilla servers, and vanilla does not require typing anything at all to start festivals.

If you must continue using this dedicated server host, you can allow chat cheats on the save file, which would allow the mobile player to open the chat by tapping the day/time money box, but I would heavily advise against it due to it being largely inconvenient and not meant to be used by players.
