Standard and Beach for me, those give the most space to mess around with for large scale projects. The vibes are totally different between them too which is cool.

I need to play more on forest though once the current play through is done, the hardwood and overall aesthetics are nice and it’d be cool to lean into it with the new green rain stuff, moss and mushrooms and so forth.

Beach is totally my fav. It feels nice to not be constantly spending so many bars on sprinklers, and it motivates me to engage with the rest of the game aside from crops a lot more.

Meadowlands is pretty fun too, has tried Standard, Riverlands, and Four Corners to varying success.

I like all farms but Meadowlands is my new favourite because I am absolutely flashed by the blue grass and the two chicken. 😁 I like to see how the colour of the blue grass changes in spring, summer, autumn and winter. 😊
Four corners farm, forest farm and the beach farm are my other favourites and the four corners farm is maybe a little bit more my favourite because I like the interior of the farmhouse and I like how the farm is divided into four parts and a fifth part with the greenhouse and the cave in the middle.
I also like the interior of the Hilltop farmhouse but it is difficult to build many buildings there.

I started on a Four Corners Farm, loved it. I did a Forest Farm, felt like the extras were cheating. Meadowlands was fun.

But then I realized - I don't need to stop at one or two coops. I can build as many coops as I want.

So it's the Beach Farm for me. I need the extra space so I can be utterly buried in fluffy bunnies.

This is really tough to narrow down to two...

Meadowland is really REALLY cute with the waterfalls, so I'm very partial to that one currently.

Riverlands being the OG and very water-based will always have a place in my heart, and I think as a relic of a legacy map, maybe it would have waterfalls too if it were introduced alongside 1.6.

Forest always has that mystique and intrigue for me, and it had been the one I really want to play on next... something about above-ground backgrounds bring out the creative juices in me, and I felt there are lots of decoration opportunities using those overhead foresty leaves as concealing components...

Hilltop also feels very nice with complex geographic features like tiny mountain ranges and rivers. However restrictive the terrain may be, I feel like this would be another one I would have fun decorating on... and having unique features like the Geode node is always a bonus.

.. and maybe because Beach farm was ALWAYS my "perfectionist" farm, I was getting kind of sick of it, but it is honestly a very good farm too, the crates are especially interesting and since I'm not very much the farmer-type, the rough terrain is not a minus for me!
