Island Trader not selling Golden Coconuts

I have just returned to playing Stardew Valley after about a year away to check out the new 1.6 update, and the Island Trader is no longer selling Golden Coconuts. I am playing on Nintendo Switch. Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you found your 1st golden coconut, from shaking coconut trees, all over the island? You need to get 1 as a drop, before anything further, Golden Coconut Related, comes into play.

Yes, I have. The save file I am playing on is at 99% perfection and totals 585 hours from several years of play. I just came back to check out the 1.6 update and explore all the new features, but it's an old save file that has everything unlocked. I am getting Golden Coconuts from trees, but I cannot buy them from the Island Trader.

Golden Coconuts not showing up at the island trader is one of many identified bugs currently plaguing the console releases. PC and mobile just received a patch to address some of the continuing issues with 1.6.X, and hopefully the rest of us aren't far behind! We've been diligently reporting the problems we're experiencing with the game on consoles so we can only hope that CA and his team are taking note of everything and working on it ^_^
