Anyone knows all the conditions for a Farm Animal to become adult?

That is actually interesting and I did not know about that! I just assumed they are all equally large, but the obstacles/environment are what makes certain maps smaller.
Beach always feels like a small map because the obstacles/environment are placed in an inconvenient spot that sometimes make building placement just one short... but I've just assumed Standard you don't run into similar issues even though I've never played Standard before :P

I'm kinda wanting to start a Forest Farm and overgrow it with Green Rain Trees everywhere... but looking at the map types, I just saw Meadowlands has waterfalls and that's kinda cute... choices, choices...

I mean my animals are well known to have some pretty horrid living conditions...

At least those guys got to see the sun again come spring

🫣 Since it’s a game I won’t call the authorities, but still…😬

So one question, the animals obviously don’t see the light of day, but how do YOU see the light of day or move a-n-y-w-h-e-r-e on that map?

If you want to be technical about it, I think the beach farm has more space, so it could probably fit more buildings.
Standard has more space. But if you want fun animal farm with lots of grass for your furry friends the the beach farm is great for space and green grass.

OK, I have to ask: how do you get into most of those barns?

Check some of the latest messages in this thread:

It revolves around building clipping, of which I attached a video there outlining just how to do so.

Yep, though it's far more awkward to place on, this farm was created pre 1.5, and in 1.6 due to the changes in building clipping it's probably worse? I haven't done the testing but the layout is pretty awful for maximizing long columns of buildings

They generally are (in terms of how large the farm map is in x tiles by y tiles). Exceptions to this are the beach and meadowlands I believe. If you compare the size of features like the farmhouse compared to the farm as a whole you can see how it's a comparatively larger difference on those farms.

In the case of beach, it has nearly a whole thousand more placeable tiles than standard has (albeit fewer tillable tiles). The layout is a load more awkward but generally that doesn't make a huge difference in the maximizing of farm space for buildings. It might in the case of the new way building clipping works though which is why I don't know if it's better than standard for that.
