I mean, a separate wiki was assumed, but they could be merged into a Chucklefish forum or something. It would be easier to manage with a small team of mods, unless he doesn't mind getting new mods or doubling them to a second forum. Forum.hc.net as well as our current forum.sdv could just forward to forum.chucklefish or whatever the team decides to do. Idk, I'm just curious and was thinking about it the other dayAs it's a separate game there will very likely be a separate forums.hauntedchocolatier.net or similar, as well as it's own Wiki. I can imagine needing Wood and Stone and many other of the same named materials which will be found and accessed in different ways which would be too confusing to document on a merged Wiki. As well as the disambiguation in the Amethyst entry as I'll be reading it's hungry Ethan who Loves it but then can't find him in SDV v1.8 and really I need less confusion in my life.

I'm sure that with time it will draw a separate fanbase, but initially yeah...it'll probably just be all of us. I forget, is HC going to be mobile?Ah I get it now. Second and third time (oh, 3 or 4...) is usually the charm. It seems like they could just re-use the forum structure here and host both on the same site with the same software install, no reason to break what ain't fixed. I'm not editing that, that's how it came out and I'm owning it. It works here so why not the same for HC? Probably just separate subdomain for the HC folks.
Which.
Let's be honest here.
Is all us folks. Same horses, different watering hole.
Last I read it was planned for PC (maybe that means Mac and Linux but maybe not?), and no immediate plans for mobile and console. As a single designer, that seems the best option: Do the one thing you know how to do extremely well and can stay focused on. Worry about the parallel challenges of translation to 5 other platforms at a later time, if at all.I'm sure that with time it will draw a separate fanbase, but initially yeah...it'll probably just be all of us. For what it's worth, Chucklefish (CF) is no longer involved with Stardew Valley. As part of ConcernedApe (CA) taking on those responsibilities, these forums were set up by CA, and the wiki was transferred from CF to CA. CF's forum for the game is still available at https://community.playstarbound.com/forums/stardew-valley.72/, with some sections still open and some archived as read-only.I mean, a separate wiki was assumed, but they could be merged into a Chucklefish forum or something. Yes, PC includes Windows, Mac, and Linux. Here's ConcernedApe's answer for this from https://www.hauntedchocolatier.net/faq/ and via a tweet:Last I read it was planned for PC (maybe that means Mac and Linux but maybe not?)
What platforms will it come out on?
The only platform I am 100% certain about is PC. However, I have every intention of bringing it to the other major platforms as well.
The look is 2D pixel art, very similar visual vibe to Stardew so your laptop should have no problem with it as long as it runs Stardew well, which it should. What game genre would be Haunted Chocolatier? Horror? Will an Intel i7 1065G7 and 12 GB RAM be enough for Haunted Chocolatier? If that is not super 3d cgi I can hope so.
That's a great suggestion as a single topic like this one inevitably gets buried, especially with the number of bug report posts that are coming in with the recent updates. A dedicated Haunted Chocolatier subforum, even in the Off Topic section would be wonderful!I bump this thread @Magically Clueless @Odin @liquidcat : is that possible to have a sub-forum here to hold discussions about Haunted Chocolatier (at least until official forums are created)? I volunteer to search for any post related to Haunted Chocolatier in the current forums and tag them as such, so they can easily be moved to the dedicated sub-forum.
