Switch Game crashing when trying to divorce/ raccoon shop not updating

This has happened 4 times now. I try to divorce my current partner and each day I’ve filled the papers then went to end the day it crashes. I’ve checked for corrupt software, updates restarting my Switch nothing is fixing it! I’ve never had a single issue with this game like this and I’m so frustrated. In the grand scheme I know this is a dumb issues to be aggravated over but still. Also the raccoon shop says it’s expanding every time I give them their requests yet nothing new is showing up? Is anyone else having this issue? And do we know if there’s any indication as to whether or not it’s going to get fixed??
