Android 1.6 crash on launch/opening

We've been attempting to fix the issue with each patch, but it seems nothing has worked so far. We're currently waiting on an Oppo testing device to arrive, so we can test solutions on an actual affected device; hopefully it won't be much longer until an actual fix is found.

I'm sorry for the delay; this hasn't been an easy issue to track down, but I appreciate everyone's patience as we work to find the problem.

Oh I hope they can fix it ASAP. I can only open the game if I restart my phone. I'm tired of having to do that all the time:(

Haven't had any kind of crashing issues on my retroid pocket 4 pro. Half of the memory is being used and a quarter of the CPU. Its a new, but still pre 1.6, farm.
Its using a mediatek d1100. Hopefully y’all can find a fix, sounds like a pretty specific chipset issue.

Hey all!

As of 1.6.14.1, we managed to get our own Oppo A17 testing device to finally launch the game. The update is starting to roll out now, so it might still be a bit until it reaches you. Once you get the update, can you check to see if the game now manages to launch?

It might take a couple of tries, especially if you're trying to create a new farm to play on the 1.6 update, but we'll continue to work towards solving all of those remaining issues in future patches.

may i know what was the exact issue that caused the crash in oppo devices?

Hey, sorry to hear that the game still isn't launching for you.

The problem was that the game was taking too long to load, and not processing user input for too long. Some phones, like the Oppo with its custom Android variant, ColorOS, will shutdown the game instantly instead of displaying an "App Not Responding" dialogue like most other devices would see.

PS. It launched perfectly but still can't play. It opens the new farm editor but when it's time to play, when saving the file. It crashes again huhuhu

PSS. tried uninstalling and installing it again, wont let me play and get pass the bus scene, if I skip the intro. It will turn into black screen and crash. Turning off and on the phone tried it as well. My device is Oppo A17, same as the one the devs used.

Yep i have same issue

the Crash problem is in intro scene or skip intro,i tried couple times but not work at all. it work when i moved save file from another phone which has passed bus scene, and this requires another phone to skip the intro. What solution for this dev?

Hopefully doesn't take long to fix it.
