PlayStation PS5 divorce bug

Hey, was having my girlfriend join my save and she refused unless I divorced my in-game wife, and obviously I happy obliged.
Whenever I divorce my wife at the mayors house, as soon as I sleep to save the game, my game crashes. I don’t got to the money screen or anything. As soon as I sleep, instant crash.
I am on three attempts now with the same outcome, divorce spouse, finish out the day, and game crash when I sleep.
haven’t seen anything about this on Reddit or the forums so far, so figured I would post. Thanks!

As an update, my day doesn’t save, and my save file reverts back to the original day Groundhog Day style. Thank god it isn’t a save-ending bug

Oh no is this what happened to us? we only tried once, but since passing out in the theater gave us a black screen twice already, we gave up from this
