Android How do i deal with the crashing problem?

I need help... I want to play stardew valley to experience it and the update but it keeps crashing on me with the furthest it's gone not crashing is asking if i'll enable the tutorial hints before it goes black and just leaves. Is this normal? I keep uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing data, anything but nothing works... What should I do???

What phone do you have? We have the same problem here, I tried literally everything from reinstalling to formatting my entire phone(Oppo a17k) is there any mods even gonna reply(respectfully)

My phone is an oppo a17. Back in the 1.5 update, i also experienced the crashing but it's nowhere near as bad and i got to play the game after a few tries so i don't know what's up with my phone after the 1.6 update

try turning off any internet you're on, including wifi and mobile data, make sure you are offline, then open the game

Hey! Just wanted to assure you all that the dev team is aware of the issue with Oppo devices crashing on launch. We're not sure yet what's causing the issue, as it's been difficult to track down, but any updates we have will be on the main thread following this issue: http://forums.stardewvalley.net/threads/1-6-crash-on-launch-opening.32397/post-146809

Hey! The 1.6.14.3 version is rolling out now, and has reportedly been launching for many Oppo users. Can you see if the update has fixed the issue for you?
