The key to the town allows you to access most buildings of Pelican Town no matter the time of day, which is useful for a last minute gift or quest completion.
I also like Qi seasoning, for some extra luck on my lucky lunch.
Blue grass is useful if you raise animals. They get more hearts from it and require to eat less to feel satiated.
You also need galaxy souls to get your galaxy sword to its ultimate form, but you may also buy it from the island trader on some days.
The horse flute allows you to bring your horse to the island and desert, or any place when you need it instead of looking for him on the map.
The Junimo chest is basically a Minecraft Ender Chest, I use it to keep fishing tackles and bait near most of my fishing spots.
And I guess the heavy tapper is good when you like hoarding tree sap.(Oak resin, maple syrup, pine tar, mystical syrup)

It depends on what you want and everyone uses these items differently. This is what I buy and have used:
1. I prioritize the Horse Flute so I can ride faster anywhere on the map, especially Ginger. But it's also great for taking the Minecarts and then summoning your Horse for the rest of the trip. And remember all your Speed Buffs work on your Horse, too!
2. Aquatic Sanctuary is next because I love Fish tanks and the AqS is the biggest and holds the most Fish. I often end up with 3 or 4 lol.
3. I usually go for Galaxy Souls next but if you like doing the Skull Cavern and Mines Qi Quests, you'll likely get those from loot drops instead.
4. Blue Grass is perfect if you like your animals to feed themselves as it lasts 2x as long as regular Green so you only need half the growing space.
5. Mini Shipping Bin is excellent for keeping near machines/storage in Coop/Barn/Sheds. Mega time and annoyance saver.
6. Mushroom Tree Seed is great if you don't have any Mushroom Trees yet. They drop Seeds later so you only need one.
7. Heavy Tapper is great if you need to expand your Keg/Bee House/Loom processing. Also Deluxe Speed-Gro and Rain Totems.
I've bought many of the other things but the Junimo Chests are meh if you have Obelisks and the Return Sceptre. A couple scchhheeeeaaaoooowwwnnnnns and you can transfer 3 times as much stuff that you can put in the Jchest and there's no loading, then unloading, then putting away. 3x too much work.
I find the other Qi stuff comes in handy for 100% Perfection but is a rarely worth it for my play otherwise:
Missing Stocklist - invaluable for Cooking all recipes
Deconstructor - useful for getting some rarer ingredients from surplus items from Fishing Chests, loot drops
Magic Bait - very useful for catching all Fish without waiting seasons
Recipes - needed for 100% Perfection
Still never used the Hopper, Seasoning, Enricher. Used all of 2 Pressure Nozzles total. But other people's play styles make these essential, so it's different for everyone.

If you want my opinion on the Hopper, I don't really care about it. I don't use it for anything. I might have bought one to test it out and that's about it.

Get crafting recipes first if you are going for perfection, after that the sprinkler nozzles for range are great too!
