A short introduction

Hi everyone !
I just realized I haven't posted an introduction yet. I even forgot that I made this account over three years ago. Oopsie.

Anyway, my name is Rose and I've been playing SDV for a long time now. I don't remember exactly when, but it was before update 1.3. I play on computer and on Switch. Unfortunately, I don't play multiplayer, I feel burnt out whenever I have to play out of my own rythm so it gets quickly overwhelming whenever I have to keep up with someone else.

Aside from that, I'm currently 26 as of posting this thread. I work as a train driver in Belgium and my hobbies include art (drawing ; painting (traditional and digital) ; clay sculpting; ...), swimming, horseback riding and a bit of gardening. I also have two cats and plan on raising ducks in the future. I'm also a bit of historical fashion nerd. I really love late Victorian/ early Edwardian fashion. I would love to sew my own clothes but that's so tedious and time consuming, it's very hard for me to stay focused for that long.

I most enjoy cosy games that you can take your time with. I quickly get burnt out with highly competitive games.

Hi everyone ! Thank you so much for your warm welcome.

Yeah, train driver isn't a very common job, but I really like what I do. The upside, but also the downside is that you always have to stay focused whilst driving the train. It implies a lot a technical knowledge and responsibility, but it's also very draining. At the end of my day, I tend to be so tired that I just plop myself in front of the computer and doomscroll or play games, which isn't very healthy. lol

You can ask me anything about trains, I love to explain what I do.

I wish more train stuff was implemented in the game, but a defunct train station in a small village is non-ironically realistic where I live. I wish we didn't remove so many railway lines and stations over the years. It's now very hard to get back to that flourishing point.

I drive passenger trains only, so I'm that one train that doesn't drop anything. Sorry about that. :'D


Oh, I figured I can share this SDV profile I made ! :D I enjoyed making this little character as if it was a Stardew NPC.
