I was considering buying this on mobile but it seems it was pretty much abandoned and is full of unfixed bugs.

Stardew Valley was just updated to v1.6 today so that argues quite strongly against being abandoned. But yes a new release also means new bugs which they are fixing with a v1.6.10 release either already out or soon to be.

Mobile has received every update as other platforms, and has both community and developer support, including this forum.
