1.6 Update Why isnt game updating?

Btw he DOES have a wife and a life outside of Stardew. He owes us nothing. We paid for game as is. Not for future updates. Back in the days of NES you didn’t get an update, you bought the new version. Today most games you pay for new content outright or they nickel and dime you to advance to new levels. This is free. I’m just as eager as the next person but I waited almost 2 years for the last mobile update, happy to have this one in less than half that time!

Trying to launch the game should prompt your Switch to check for the update. If that doesn't work, you can try highlighting Stardew on the home screen and pressing +. Then select the "Software Update" tab and "Via the Internet".

The update is unfortunately still pending for Apple Arcade, it's just waiting on Apple's approval at this point.

You may need to search for Stardew in the App Store and you'll see an update button on the page for the game, if it isn't automatically updating.
