I'm curious what would happen if you trigger Shane's seven-heart event after Joja goes bankrupt, since that story involves Shane, Emily, and Clint shooting an advertisement for Joja.

It still triggers. Joja is a supposed mega corp. So it just closes in Stardew not worldwide.

It absolutely does, the ferngill republic is actively warring against the gotorro empire, and we hear of certain locations like grampleton (which is presumably in the ferngill republic), but also locations like castle village and the prarie islands which have no real locational context or information whatsoever

I believe HC might be in the same world as SDV? don't quote me on that though

Castle Village sounds like a generic spoof UK location. We have a lot of castles. I live just down the road from one, although it's a smallish-to-middling town and not a village.
