Help understanding updates and operating systems?

Hello everyone! This is probably a silly question but I can't figure it out on my own so here we are haha. I'm playing Stardew Valley through Steam on my Macbook Air (because it's what I have). I can't tell if I have the most recent version of the game, and I don't quite understand if I'll have access the to the upcoming 1.5 version? Am I missing out just by playing on my Mac?

As far as I know, you're all set. Stick with us, check out the support section etc. And post great questions like this one, that benefits others who easily have the same concern .
additionally, familiarize yourself with the steam UI. Just go through the settings/options etc, and be sure to keep it auto-updated etc for SDV. Join the steam community forum for SDV via steam, and they will always have general status info on your version etc.

You're all set. You can obtain all of the achievements and take screen shots and share your experiences with everyone:)

You can check what version of the game you're running by clicking the ? in the bottom right of the title screen, then looking in the bottom left corner. Steam keeps games up to date automatically, so you should see "v1.4.5" which is the latest version. And you aren't missing anything by playing on a Mac, in fact, people on Windows, Mac, or Linux can all play together and get updates before console or mobile. So you'll get 1.5 as soon as it launches :)
