Tip: Museum artifacts and minerals list

Use the image below, borrowed from this wiki page, as a reference when donating items to the museum. Placing the artifacts on tables in exactly the same order will make it easier to see what is still missing.

Uploading your save file to Stardew Checkup tool can also help you figure out what’s missing from your collection.

You can reorganize your collection by clicking on a piece of paper on Gunther’s desk

I think I’m only 10 items away from completion? I know I need the prehistoric skull & scapula, but I don’t know what else I am missing.

If you wanna figure it out, you can rearrange it to look like the picture. Just click on the papers on Gunters desk.

I don't know if you're missing that many pieces, a few places stay empty.

apparently I’m only missing 3!

prehistoric scapula & skull, and ancient seed (which I stopped looking for after I got the garden seed from a seed maker, oops )

I keep going to skull cavern with stairs, but hardly ever hit prehistoric levels, and keep getting tibias!

I don't think the dinos drop skulls. Try the quarry mine instead :) not sure where to get the scapula, but you could always check the wiki.

Pepper Rex do not drop Skulls or Scapulas. Skulls can be found at forage locations in the mountains or received from Haunted Skull drops. Scapulas can be found at forage spots in the Cindersap and Pelican Town.

The Ancient Seed can be found in fishing treasure chests, artifact troves, at forage locations in the Cindersap and Mountains or received from the drop of any bug. It's one of the harder artifacts to not find, in my experience.

Thank you! I randomly got an ancient seed from my seed maker and thought “mission accomplished” and didn’t even look for the artifact lol (Bear in mind, this is the first game I’ve played since the original Nintendo, so... )

And I obviously skim-read the wiki months ago and never went back to verify, so thank you for the reminder :)

I used it but its only showing my file where I'm 5 fall year 3 but in game I'm 15 fall year 3 how do i get the updated and current one its nowhere in my stardew file folder and my steam cloud is up to date so how do i fix this.

can someone help me move the inventory toolbar when I want to rearrange it in the museum? I can't move the bottom artifact because it's blocked by the inventory toolbar. I've tried using any settings but it doesn't work, neither can I zoom in or out. v 1.5.6 build 52

Go into settings and put the "inventory padding" setting to the max. This should just allow you to squeeze into one of the sides and pick up the artifact from the crack between the inventory and edge of the screen if you scroll all the way to the left

thanks for the suggestion, on my android, i found, "menu padding and toolbar padding, i have set it to maximum. i can only grab some artifacts below by myself by utilizing the gap. The one at the bottom left i can't grab it.

Can you try scrolling farther to the left or maybe scrolling to the right?

Otherwise I can't really see a solution unless you can very quickly place and pickup the item when you drop off another

Yep, just interact with the desk a little to the side of gunther, you'll get a popup to "rearrange the museum collection" where you can organize the artifacts and minerals to your hearts content

It's useful if you want to make an aesthetically pleasing museum (maybe a rainbow effect), or if you want to cross reference your museum with someone elses full collection to see what you're missing

yea I already finished mine but its ugly asf so im def gonna change it
