PC [HELP] SAVING IN THE GAME DOESN'T WORK

suddenly, the game closed and the save was lost when restarting. all the save files are there. I tried all the recommendations on the site, but nothing helps. what should I do?

So they are there in the save folder you mean but they dont show when you load the game?

Is it possible they got moved or re-named?

In future you should make a back up everymonth or so. I goto my save file, make a 'copy' (NOT 'cut') and past it in a folder, something titled like 'start of spring year 4' or 'end of fall year 2'. I only do it at the start and end of every month (Usually day 27ish or 1)

I keep the freshest on on my desk top and to keep it organized I have another folder for all the old ones.

Have you tried going into the files of the game and seeing if you can recover it also. Do you mean the save completely dissaper ed? Also I believe this is the save file locations %appdata%/StardewValley/Saves

YEAH, they are not displayed in the game!
I saved copies that weren't renamed and don't even work with them

Only thing I can think of is make sure your putting them in the right spot, otherwise uninstall and reinstall and move the save file before you launch it for the first time. (Sorry I know uninstall/reinstall is not what anyone wants to hear)

What company did you buy it from? If it was GOG they have pretty good help...if steam well then.

Edit: Right click and select provide administrator privliges on the game and the save file...prob wont do anything but just a thought.
