OK.
!
As someone who recently purchased an overlarge and
painfully ugly Yellow Timepiece, I feel compelled to agree and emphasize what Mr. Gorilla is saying here. Processing Crops is
already overpowered. Just in the course of my typical Crop planting, gathering, and processing, I was able to sock away 7.5M g
on the side while concentrating on other things like Festivals and Dangerous Mines/Skull Cavern dives and Farmhouse reorganizing.
Maybe my Efficient Farming is paying off (I may need to relinquish my coveted 'Lazy' title but I think I can re-earn it by cutting my Farm down to 42% of it's currently bloated size) and maybe it's that I'm not focusing on the g and instead on reasonable Farm maintenance and then fun stuff, but the g rolled in wayyy easier and faster than I expected.
So I think once you have a system in place
and you're not fixated on making the most g but instead on doing fun extra things, any "debuff" of not retaining the star quality of processed Crops recedes into the background. You'll make up the "difference" in a few days anyway.
Now you have an
extra few days to do all fun stuff you want to:
Visit Sandy to peruse her Shirt of the day
Visit Krobie to peruse their Sprinkler of the day
Visit Qi to get the Mines/Cavern dive challenge of the day
Attend every one of the
18 Festival days
Redecorate one house room per day
Redecorate a Shed
Make a special outfit for every Hat in the game
Visit Ginger to try in vain to get the Tiger Hat
Spend all day Fall 15 at The Desert
Replant the Missing Forest at the Train Station
Cut down every Tree to make Cindersap Meadow (gotta bring balance to The Force)
Fish lazily under a tree at the south of town secretly listening in on everyone's convos
