I unlock some of the community center parts (ex Greenhouse, Travel Carts), then go buy the Joja Membership from Morris?

If I remember correctly, you can purchase the Joja Memebership at any time, as long as you have not completed the whole Community Center and Joja is out of business.
As for the parts:
If you complete a bundle only half way, then you will have to pay full price at Joja.
If you have it completed in full, then it will also be marked as complete on the Joja development form and you can keep the greenhouse or any other upgrade you already have.

Really? Then this solved my problem! I will leave only one bundle undone, finish all others, then buy the membership! I like the single bundles' rewards such as machinery or seasonal seeds, but i also want to do the Joja thing, mostly for autopetters (for various other reasons, too)!

Joja is the way to go. Saves Shane’s job, autopetters, keeps Pierre toned down a notch.
Just a caution, the community center closes and is turned into a joja warehouse which later can become a movie theater for a lot of money. You will not be able to see the work you accomplished in the CC nor will anyone be able to go there (which they don’t really much anyways.)

In a way, yes, but he hangs out at the bar a LOT more once Joja closes. Not a good thing for Shane. He also tells the farmer at 8+ hearts when Joja closes that he hated working at Joja, but now that he’s unemployed he feels even worse.

One difference is the theater will be where the community center/warehouse used to be, instead of at the old jojamart.

Weird, I've never had that dialogue from him. I just get the one about how he's been working with Marnie and the chickens more. He likes that a lot better so in the long run, I think he is better off. He mentioned that he's been playing video games instead of drinking, so that's also a good thing in my mind.

in the 1.6 update there is also a Joja Perfection Path so you wl be able o buy perfection percentage iin the form of perfection waivers and on ginger island yyou will be able to ueee money to find the golden wallnuts.

Neither did I. Also I didn't notice that he hangs out in the saloon more often, I mean, how often can it be when he was hanging out there on a daily basis anyway. Didn't he quit drinking after losing his job and finding his passion?
It would never have occurred to me to go the Joja route after I had just got rid of my terrible job there by the greatest stroke of luck of my life. But it is said that in 1.6 you should at least try it once, so I will do that, just to have experienced it.

Never saw Shane say it either, but sure enough, he does say it. At least the Wiki pages say he does. But apparently he also claims to want to raise chickens if he "could reset...life...".
