Help getting mod to work

Sorry if this isn't allowed but I really love this bfav mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4169?tab=description, but I can't get it to work its older than the unnoficial updates and stuff and the animals just don't show up in marnie's shop. Anyone have any idea why? Again sorry if this isn't allowed.

It's old and I suppose it uses deprecated code. Your best hope is that someone updates it or makes a similar one. But seeing the log might help to see what's wrong.
Does BFAV itself still work (it's listed as a requirement). It's as old.

Yes I have tons of working bfav mods with the newer unofficial update, and there is no error messages in the log its like I don't even have the mod installed. I've tried to copy the format of the working bfav mods to get this one to work but, doesn't work so guess I will just have to wait to see if an actual coder likes echidnaes enough to update it.
