The bottom is actually 2,147,483,527 but now I just feel pedanticYou will find yourself there. So I found a tasty Farmer often being nibbled by Flying Serpents because apparently Spicy Eel and Coffee is the favored seasoning for the reptile palate.
But when it comes to more earthly acquisitions you will find nothing more than increased rates of Iridium Nodes and if lucky, some other valuable things. Skull Cavern is all about grinding for materials you use elsewhere in the game but usually not for a single goal or item unless it's a rare drop from an SC monster or something valuable from a Treasure Floor. Like an Autopetter or Blue Cowboy Hat. Or Parsnip Seeds.
Yes.
Sometimes the you which is found there is... Parsnip Seeds. Now you know where Lewis got them at the beginning of the game. By paying someone else to stick their neck down there and grab the first thing they find. Hey, at least it wasn't the Hat.
And Skull Cavern does have a bottom at Floor 2,147,483,647. Pack some extra snacks.
Ah now that makes sense, I ran outta toes by 2,147,250,000 or so and was kinda winging it from there. The bottom is actually 2,147,483,527 but now I just feel pedantic
I can't help but notice that the difference with the max value of a signed int32 is precisely 120, which happens to be the number of floors in the regular mines. Does anyone knows if all mines floors (Skull Cavern and regular ones) are coded on the same variable? The bottom is actually 2,147,483,527 but now I just feel pedantic
I remember someone (BlaDe, imnvs, FilthyGorilla?) looking into that at one point and the first Floor of Skull Cavern is coded as "Level 121 of the Mines" so yes. Of course I forgot to subtract 120 once I'd started swapping between the various phalanges at my disposal but just try counting past like 70 or 80 and you'll see just how interesting that patch of shady grass suddenly becomes after you hit like 22.I can't help but notice that the difference with the max value of a signed int32 is precisely 120, which happens to be the number of floors in the regular mines. They are actually, the first level of sc is level 121 of the mines, in older versions you could even glitch the game and make a ladder appear on level 120 that lead to the first floor in skull cavernI can't help but notice that the difference with the max value of a signed int32 is precisely 120, which happens to be the number of floors in the regular mines.
