Placing items on furniture (Tables) on Console versions

I've always wanted to have a display room that shows off the various weapons I've found (especially with the new update) but when I tried to put it all together I found out to my disappointment that there is no way to do it on console (or just xbox?) I have tried searching everywhere but I can't even find anyone talking about it, much less making a serious suggestion about it, so I thought I would post it here.

Items can be placed on end tables, even on console.
