Yellow Slime Question

So I'm waiting on the PS release, but I'm already planning out how I want to do the new beach farm. I want to make a small slime ranch in the corner and I'm basically going for a large mass of yellow slimes (for gold ore). In the wiki, it says Gold Ore is 100% "additional" drop. So my question is do the main drops come from the green or red slime loot table? Basically is it possible to get a green slime egg from a yellow slime.

Also I'm pretty sure its Green + Red Slimes = Yellow slimes, but can someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Follow up question. Can Tiger Slime eggs hatch in the incubator? If yes, can they mate?

That should totally be possible, because you can get them as loot and I already see some of them mating on the Ginger Island Farm.
