Year 1 Accomplishments

What are everyone’s most memorable accomplishments from their first year on their farm(s)?

When you become a seasoned player like me with many different farms, there are some things you learn to be proud of when in early game. Personally, I just finished my first year on ‘Persephone’ farm I started a bit ago. (I kinda got tired of my year 12 ‘Demeter’ farm in which there is only town decorating to do… and finding those darn work boots.) And I wanted to share a list of cool things I’ve done so far!! I know to some this all seems very easy, but as a casual player who doesn’t really set any serious goals, I think this is kinda cool to do in year 1.

• Completed the community center on Winter 26 (Normal bundles)
• Got married to Haley on Winter 6
• Maxed out all skills
• Completed 5 monster eradication goals
• Got galaxy sword, iridium pickaxe, and upgraded all other tools to gold
• Finished mines on Spring 24
• Upgraded house to max size
• Got all the secret notes (non-island)
• Got Qi club card
• Unlocked sewers
• 3 dinos and 1 void chicken
• Total earnings: 715K g

Ironically, I almost failed doing the thing I wanted to do most on this list. I needed a poppy to complete the community center and I was waiting for the night market to buy the seeds. However, I goofed and thought it was a fall flower instead of a summer flower, so I only went to the market on the 3rd day when it was already too late. After realizing my mistake, I was so miserable and thought I wouldn’t be able to finish the community center. I had been checking the traveling cart for a poppy or poppy seeds for a month in game by then and didn’t have any luck, so I doubted that I would have any luck the rest of the month, especially considering I would still have to grow them before the end of winter if I only got seeds. But I got the seeds Winter 21st and completed my goal!!

These are some amazing achivements early in game well done. I'm just starting a new farm again after getting my first ever farm to Year 6 and just finding not much to do anymore. I think for me it's always a big milestone being able to complete the community centre and also get fruit trees early, hopefully this time I will!
