I think it would be a cool idea for maybe a weekend during the summer for there to be a yard sale event, where all the towns people have stuff to sale, and you can also create your own booth to sale items. You can pick your own price of the item, and can even sale clothes that you make using Emily’s sewing machine and sell furniture

Selling furniture is a bad idea, because there is the furniture catalogue, where you can get furniture free. But selling craftet things would make sense.

I like this idea! I could imagine this happening in the spring where instead of money you could be trading items? Similar to how you trade gifts during the winter star where you can bond with villagers and get rare items.

Hehe, sponsoring farmers markets, horse shows, beerfests, maybe there's even some music attraction to invite. You can take that kind of thing in all kinds of directions.

And you could pay attention to who likes what to know what to give people as gifts. They might say things like "I love this!" Or "this will make a great gift for---"

This is a really good idea.

It could be a 3 day summer event in the flower dance festival area, similar to the winter night market at the beach. But where the townfolk sell their own stuff like Lea: Art, Haley: Photos, Emily: Clothes etc. And with unique items you can only get there. Everybody should have open 2 times during the 3 days, one morning and one evening, so you don't miss out if you're late one day and so there are other townfolk walking around.

You could sell items too, and people would buy things they like and love and even neutral items if you are friends with them. And the selling price would go up the more hearts you have with that person.
