Wording confusion

This caused a minor argument haha
Playing 2 player with my fiance. She drew this festival card

The thing that caused an argument was the wording "deck of their choice."

Now, she took it to mean "you get to pick a card from your profession upgrade deck you chose at the beginning."

I understood it to mean "pick ANY profession upgrade deck and pick any card at random."

Can anyone give insight? This isn't a proven each other wrong situation its a I'd like it solved for next time situation :p

I'm pretty sure it means you can get a profession upgrade from any deck you choose; it doesn't have to be the one you chose at the start.
