Ok, so I'm in year 3 of SDVE and every time I go to the crimson badlands there are literally thousands upon thousands of slimes. I know this to be true because I collected over 600 slime monster loot in one day and didn't even make a dent. Slaughtered maybe a twelfth of those MENACES. I've installed the mod config menu and altered settings so no monsters spawn, however the slimes are all still there. Thousands of 'em. Super annoying. I have a fairly high spec PC and still it occasionally lags out if I kill like 20+ slimes in one foul swoop, though a lot less when no other monsters are spawning. The issue is, I want other monsters to be able to spawn. I don't want a slime infested jungle. This is MADNESS.
My theory is that the lil male and female slimes keep makin love and reproducing so they don't spawn in the same way that other monsters do, hence why perhaps theyre excluded from the mod config menu alterations.
This is insufferable.
